In 2010 a young African American man was at the scene of a murder with other persons and charged with 1st Degree Murder. He was taken into custody, interrogated over a lengthy period of time to which he finally confessed to the murder. The defense team, which included Steve Walsh, convinced the jury that it was a false confession. He was found not guilty by the Butler County jury.
