High School Coach Found Not Guilty of Statutory Rape

A high school coach in a nearby community was charged with statutory rape of a female high school sophomore. He lost his job at the high school as a result of the allegation and criminal charge. The case went to trial in April. The coach testified in his own defense and the jury—after deliberating only 8 minutes—found him not guilty.
